Overview Of Computational Nanotechnology
8. Computational Nanotechnology:
Computational nanotechnology deals with the pre-fabrication techniques of nanotech devices, and systems. Computational nanotechnology is emerging as a fundamental engineering analysis tool for the design of nanodevices, much in the same way as the continuum finite element analysis (FEA) has been used for the design and analysis of most of the current generation of engineering systems (e.g., automobiles, ships, airplanes, and ICs). Molecular machines, provided that they are specified in atomic detail , can be modeled using the tools of computational chemistry.
